The fear of becoming infected with the SARS-Cov-2 virus and developing COVID-19 has driven many of us to seriously consider which patients need to be seen in the office. In our practice, we are following our health system's guidelines, so we have restricted office visits to only those patients with urgent or emergent conditions, including those with wounds and injuries, infections, and other acutely painful or “limb-threatening” conditions.
